The East Lansing City Council will meet at 7 p.m., Tuesday Sept. 12 at 101 Linden St.

Below are highlights of the meeting's agenda.

The council will consider approving road closures for the MSU Homecoming Parade on Friday, Oct. 20. Road closures will last from 2:30 to 7:15 p.m., depending on the road's location.

MSU alumnus Tyler Oakley is this year's grand marshal.

The Park District Project is on the agenda after demolition was delayed following unknown legal issues.

A public hearing will be set for Sept. 19 for consideration of Amended Brownfield Plan #11.

Park District has been plagued by setbacks and delays as the developer, 100 Grand River LLC, attempts to move forward to demolish the blighted buildings and build a hotel and mixed use development.
