After OSU win, small Cedar Village celebration

November 21, 2015

Updated Monday at 12:40 p.m.

Six individuals were arrested in Cedar Village on Saturday night after the win against OSU, East Lansing Police Department Lt. Scott Wrigglesworth said.

Four fires were set, Wrigglesworth said, although it is unclear what each person was arrested for or if they've been arraigned.

After MSU defeated No. 3 Ohio State on Saturday with a last-minute field goal, Cedar Village was alight with celebrations. Chants of "Go Green, Go White," could be heard throughout the apartment complex and snowballs were thrown in place of bagels.

While police could not be immediately reached for comment, at least two people were arrested amid the revelry.

MSU Football will face off against Penn State this upcoming Saturday.
