MSU football remains No. 8 in College Football Playoff Rankings

MSU did not move after a bye week in the recent College Football Playoff rankings, remaining at No. 8.

The Spartans were jumped by Kansas State (7-1 overall, 5-0 Big 12) after their win over Oklahoma State (5-4 overall, 3-2 Big 12). KSU will take on No. 6 TCU (7-1 overall, 4-1 Big 12) this weekend.

The rest of the top four featured Mississippi State, Florida State, Auburn and Oregon.

Alabama was the first team on the outside looking in, while Airzona State and Notre Dame rounded out the top 10.

Ohio State, this Saturday’s opponent for MSU, is ranked 14.
