Two individuals accused of falsely reporting a bomb threat to Spartan Stadium were arraigned in East Lansing's 54-B District Court today.

The bomb threat, which was received by police at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, spurred a temporary evacuation of Spartan Stadium and the surrounding area. MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said no bomb was found upon further investigation.

The first suspect, 30 year-old Cynthia Marie Spade, had her bond set at $50,000 by Judge Richard D. Ball.

The second, Anthony Robert Shearer, 31, had his bond set at $75,000 cash surety. Both suspects are Lansing residents and MSU police said the pair have no MSU affiliation.

Shearer also faces charges of driving with a suspended license and is a habitual offender, having three prior felony convictions in 2004 and 2006.

Both suspects are being held at the Ingham County Jail.

The two are scheduled to appear in court again on July 8.
