Wilcox named finalist for chancellor position at University of Wisconsin-Madison
MSU Provost Kim Wilcox was named one of four finalists for the
University of Wisconsin-Madison Chancellor position, according to a report from the Lansing State Journal.
Wilcox is in the running for the position along with acting U.S. Secretary of Commerce Rebecca Blank, University of Chicago Law School Dean Michael Schill and Nicholas Jones, dean of the Whiting School of Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University.
Wilcox left MSU at the beginning of this year to take an assignment
with the Partnership to Cut Hunger and Poverty in Africa. He previously had said he would officially leave his position as MSU provost officially July 1.
