ASMSU, MSU’s undergraduate student government, officials passed a bill at Thursday night’s general assembly meeting to provide up to $250,000 for a second spring concert.
The concert tentatively is scheduled for April 11, as part of the organization’s efforts to raise ASMSU voting awareness. Elections for ASMSU positions will take place from April 8-15.
ASMSU officials said the concert artist will not be released until contracts are signed, but they currently are working on a contract with an artist who has won multiple Grammy awards.
ASMSU will look to announce the concert artist officially in mid March.
