Three MSU linemen named AP All-Americans

Three MSU football players were named Associated Press All-Americans on Sunday. Fifth-year senior center Jack Allen was named first team, junior offensive tackle Jack Conklin was named second team and fifth-year senior defensive end Shilique Calhoun was named third team. In recent weeks, Allen, Conklin and Calhoun have all won national honors from other media outlets.

MSU basketball bands together, remains unbeaten through tough stretch

It started with a thrilling 79-73 victory over Kansas in Champions Classic on Nov. 17 in Chicago. It continued with a three-game tournament crown in California during Thanksgiving weekend, and a down-to-the-wire 71-67 victory over Louisville three days after that. And on Saturday, the No. 1 MSU basketball team (11-0) completed one of the toughest stretches of non conference schedules in the country, with a 58-52 victory over the Florida Gators. "Right now, they're learning how to deal with so many things," Izzo said of playing through a tough schedule, among other things such as the team's No. 1 ranking and . "We've played an enormous amount of games in a short period of time.

MSU hockey looks to stop skid against Wisconsin

MSU hockey (4-9-2) has more or less swept its past four games under the rug; at least that’s the sentiment from the locker room as it prepares to take on Wisconsin (3-6-5) for a two game series at Munn Ice Arena this weekend. It’s a matchup of two desperate teams as neither has a win in it’s last five games.

Clark Jr. shows progress for MSU basketball as he returns from foot injury

As fast of a start the undefeated and No. 1 MSU basketball team has gotten off to this season, it's been a bit of a slow one for MSU sophomore forward Marvin Clark Jr. After sitting out the first two games of the season while recovering from a foot surgery he had in September, Clark has struggled to get back to shape he was in last season. But his recent play has showed promise.

Greater Lansing Sport and Social Club offers unique sporting opportunity

Some graduate students spend a lot of their time working or gazing at a computer screen.  Community sustainability graduate student Samantha Loscalzo thinks it's good to provide a social and physical environment for graduate students to unwind at the end of a long week.  After hearing about Greater Lansing Sport and Social Club Loscalzo decided to join and play the intense game of dodgeball.
