The MSU women's soccer team traveled to Colorado Springs, Colo., this weekend, finishing up its season with two wins before the Big Ten Tournament on Thursday. The Spartans defeated Colorado College, 2-1, on Friday and defeated New Mexico, 2-0, on Sunday. Senior midfielder Tiffany Laskowski scored the Spartans' two goals.

'Magic' statue erected at Breslin
The "Magic" is back in East Lansing - this time, forever. Earvin "Magic" Johnson, former MSU standout and 1979 national champion, unveiled a 12-foot, bronze-cast statue of his likeness Saturday morning in front of hundreds of fans gathered outside the Breslin Center.
