Officiating guru Mike Pereira feels referees got it wrong in MSU vs. Nebraska game

Nebraska shocked MSU 39-38 Saturday night in Lincoln, ending the Spartans undefeated season.  However, the Cornhuskers game-winning touchdown probably should have been called back as junior wide receiver Brandon Reilly clearly stepped out of bounds on his own free will.  Former Vice President of Officiating in the National Football League and current Rules Analyst at FOX Sports Mike Pereira offered his opinion on the controversial touchdown in a series of tweets. The Spartans undefeated season is over, but the Big Ten Championship is still in reach, MSU has to run the table.

MSU hockey offense shines again in 7-4 victory, 2-0 sweep of UNH

Whatever sparked MSU’s shooting urge over the weekend, they might need to keep it. MSU (4-3-1) put on another clinic of shooting, skating, and electric plays Saturday, looking like a team finding its stride and exerting confidence in a 7-4 drubbing of New Hampshire (3-4-1). “We expected a different game than last night,” head coach Tom Anastos said.
