Linebacker Riley Bullough back in the lineup for MSU

MSU annouced shortly after 2:15 Saturday, that fifth-year senior linebacker Riley Bullough will be back in the lineup for the Spartans for the first time since week two.  A team captain and last season's leading tackler for MSU sustained an injury in week two against Notre Dame sending him to the sidelines for the past three weeks.

No. 14 MSU Volleyball swept by No. 24 Illinios

On Wednesday No. 14 MSU Volleyball lost in three sets against No. 24 Illinois on the road. The Illini swept MSU in three sets, with the second set went into a marathon, with 32 points in favor of Illinois (30-32). The Spartans finished the game with a hitting percentage of only 14.5% compared Illinois' 31.9%.

FOOTBALL

MSU defensive front looking for a much needed spark in the pass rush

MSU football’s pass rush has been next to non-existent, only garnering a total of five sacks throughout their first five games. Players like junior Malik McDowell, a preseason All-American and senior Demetrius Cooper, whose five and a half sacks last season were supposed to translate to more production, have failed to get to the quarterback.

MSU men's soccer takes down No. 17 Akron

MSU men's soccer notched its ninth win on Tuesday afternoon with a win against Akron. With the result, the Spartans eclipsed last year's mark of eight wins with still five games remaining until the end of the regular season.
