All eyes were on Jenison Fieldhouse for the second straight night as the MSU volleyball team continued its trek in the NCAA Tournament. In a five-set classic, the Arizona Wildcats were able to stave off and eliminate the Spartans, 25-17, 16-25, 19-25, 26-24, 10-15. In the first round, the Wildcats ousted Cleveland State, 3-0, to keep their season alive.

Late Sunday evening, the MSU volleyball team welcomed good news regarding its impending journey in the NCAA Tournament. The Spartans earned the overall No. 9 seed and will host Fairfield University, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, or MAAC, champions. The match against the Stags is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 2 at Jenison Field House.

It was Breast Cancer Awareness night at Jenison Field House and the MSU volleyball team showed their support by wearing pink. No. 14 MSU Volleyball played No. 3 University of Minnesota Saturday night at Jenison Field House, for their second Big Ten game of the week.
On Wednesday No. 14 MSU Volleyball lost in three sets against No. 24 Illinois on the road. The Illini swept MSU in three sets, with the second set went into a marathon, with 32 points in favor of Illinois (30-32). The Spartans finished the game with a hitting percentage of only 14.5% compared Illinois' 31.9%.
Two days, two games, and two wins for MSU Volleyball. The No. 21 MSU volleyball team took the win against the University of Maryland in four sets Saturday, right after their win against No. 14 Ohio State.
For the second year in a row, MSU swept No. 14 Ohio State on Friday, 25-18, 25-20, 25-23. From the beginning of the game the Spartans led, and in certain plays they made OSU looked confused on the floor.
The No. 21-ranked MSU volleyball team was back in action over the weekend at Jenison Field House, hosting two conference opponents — the No. 14-ranked Ohio State University and the University of Maryland, marking their third week of Big Ten play this season.
