MSU Club Wrestling allows wrestlers to continue playing sport they love

High school is where many students discover their love for a sport, but after the transition to a higher level institution, it is difficult for students to dedicate a significant amount of time to sports.  “I really loved wrestling throughout high school and wanted to keep going," criminal justice sophomore John Hood said. "I understand college is a time where school is priority. It's not as high on my list as school but it's something I like to do to stay in shape meet new people and keep up with the sport I love.” The wrestling club meets every Monday and Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.

MSU Running Club welcomes all to stay in shape

After spending an entire high school career running laps on the track, many face the predicament of finding a way to continue running and staying in shape after high school.  Some students love running, but unfortunately are not at able to make the varsity team.

Fullback Trevon Pendleton's rise from the scout team

Down 14-23 against the University of Michigan with hope starting to fade for the Spartans, senior quarterback Connor Cook hit one of his more unlikely targets for a season-saving play. The Spartans had to score quick to stay in the game and on the first play of their drive Cook hit wide open senior fullback Trevon Pendleton, who took the ball 74-and-a-half yards falling just short of a touchdown according to the referees.
