As MSU senior track star Leah O'Connor rounded the corner and head into the homestretch of the 5,000 meter finals at the 2015 Big Ten Track and Field Championships on Sunday, the hometown crowd at Ralph Young Field in East Lansing, Michigan rose to its feet and roared.
