Swim and dive supporters organize reinstatement proposal following meeting with administration
A group from Battle for Spartan Swim and Dive organized a reinstatement proposal with statistics and a list of prospective donors to rebut reasons for the cutting of the swim and dive program. They will meet with directors from University Advancement and the Spartan Fund on July 20 to discuss their proposal.

MSU defenseman David Gucciardi selected by Washington Capitals in the seventh round of the 2022 NHL Draft
A left-shot defenseman, he recorded five goals and six assists in 36 games, including a dynamite three goals in two games during the Great Lakes Invitational.

Before Caan graced the big screen, he was a student-athlete at MSU who studied economics and played football under legendary head coach Duffy Daugherty in 1956. After his year in East Lansing, he moved out to New York to pursue his acting career.
