Late Sunday evening, the MSU volleyball team welcomed good news regarding its impending journey in the NCAA Tournament. In the "Battle 4 Atlantis," No. MSU finishes in third place after a win against Wichita State 77-72 . MSU took a 10 point lead into the second half, 39-29, however, many Spartans faced foul trouble. Their loss against Baylor saw the Spartans in a similar situation, up three points at the half, until being blown out in the second half, losing 73-58.

In the "Battle 4 Atlantis," No. 24 MSU loses to No. 20 Baylor 73-58. Leading by three points at the half, MSU was able to stretch the Baylor zone defense, knocking down six three-point field goals. However, Baylor was able to seize second half control, and blew the game wide open.
