After rounding out a five game road trip with a loss to No. 21 Syracuse on Nov. 30, the No. 22 MSU women’s basketball team (7-2 overall) hosted the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies (4-3 overall) at the Jack Breslin Student Events Center.

DURHAM, N.C. — After over 13,000 miles on the road in nearly a month, including trips to Hawaii, New York City, and the Bahamas, the MSU men’s basketball team (4-4 overall) nearly finished the season’s gauntlet in upset fashion as the unranked Spartans fell to No. 5 Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium by a final score of 78-69.
Just four days after defeating Wichita State University to take third place in the “Battle 4 Atlantis” tournament in the Bahamas, the unranked MSU men’s basketball team (4-3 overall) kept the frequent flyer miles rolling by traveling to Cameron Indoor Stadium to take on the No. 5 Duke Blue Devils.

In the "Battle 4 Atlantis," No. 24 MSU loses to No. 20 Baylor 73-58. Leading by three points at the half, MSU was able to stretch the Baylor zone defense, knocking down six three-point field goals. However, Baylor was able to seize second half control, and blew the game wide open.
