This university sends a message that it would rather have its own employees, who have purchased a parking permit, spend irreplaceable time every day hunting around campus for a location to park instead of getting to work. In addition, MSU seems to have a large interest in fining its employees who purchase parking permits instead of improving campus parking.
I have read articles like Gerard Ruskowski’s Drinking laws need revision (SN 1/27) and I understand and agree with his arguments.

Many of us students have found out over the last week or two that MSU has updated the e-mail service. While the new e-mail system has many more options comparable to the likes of other services available online, it failed to correct the one issue that causes the most frustration amongst student: We are being locked out of our e-mail.
I saw in the article MSU officials ban circus from Breslin (SN 1/15) how Students Promoting Animal Rights, or SPAR managed to have the circus banned from MSU this year and I decided to do a little research on the beliefs of the group.
Getting e-cards from friends, family and acquaintances is usually a nice gesture. Normally, the message does not have anything to do with life-threatening diseases.
