In one year, Jared Knoodle will have been to more major sporting events than many fans get to attend in a lifetime. Knoodle, a turfgrass management senior, attended the Major League Baseball All-Star Game in San Francisco in July. As winner of the sixth annual Toro Super Bowl Sports Turf Training Program, he’s packing his bags for his next destination – Super Bowl XLII in Glendale, Ariz.

Kellogg Center readies to host career fairs

MSU is welcoming more than 160 businesses and organizations this week as the Kellogg Center hosts back-to-back career fairs. About 110 companies attended the Supply Chain Management Career Fair on Wednesday, said Hans Kraemer, a supply chain management senior who helped coordinate the event.
