Excess of students causes overcrowding in MSU dorms

MSU dorms are overcrowded with students. Some rooms have an extra transitional roommate, making living arrangements more cramped. Though MSU is filtering students out to permanent housing, the situation is putting stress on housing services and students alike.

'Treading water': MSU chock-full with interim administrators

MSU has a lot of interim administrators. Faculty say that, in many cases, that's a bad thing, especially when those interim administrators are rushed into positions lacking the institutional and day-to-day knowledge to be effective. On the other hand, faculty say, some interim administrators are especially willing to make necessary changes before their limited time is up.

Medical examiner questions cause of Brendan Santo's death at MSU

A report is set to be released this evening calling into question the death of Brendan Santo, a Grand Valley State University student who went missing on MSU’s campus in October of 2021. Oakland County's Chief Medical Examiner Ljubisa Dragovic believes Santo’s case should have been left ‘undetermined’ rather than closed, as no water was found in his lungs during the autopsy.
