Witness testifies she told Klages of Nassar abuse in '97

Larissa Boyce, a survivor of ex-MSU doctor Larry Nassar's abuse, testified that she told Klages she was being sexually assaulted by Nassar in 1997. Boyce, 39, was a gymnast involved in the Spartan youth gymnastics program at the time. Klages is scheduled to return to court on Feb. 13 at 8:30 a.m.

Foster Coffee promotes community building with East Lansing businesses

Foster Coffee, a brand rooted in its goal of “fostering community through coffee,” has made efforts to further its mission at its East Lansing location. Since opening in September, Foster has partnered with the Douglas J Aveda Institute, offering a study night for students where they could buy coffee and get a free massage to relax. During the week of Feb. 24, they will be partnering with Greek life at Michigan State University, sponsoring 14 different non-profits and constructing fundraisers with each of them.

MSUFCU adds arbitration provision to Membership and Account Agreement

Recent changes to the Michigan State University Federal Credit Union, or MSUFCU, Membership and Account Agreement features a mandatory Arbitration Agreement, including a waiver of class action lawsuits. Members have the option to opt-out of the Arbitration Agreement by notifying MSUFCU, of their decision within 30 days of receiving notice of these changes.
