Stops to make when road tripping to the Cotton Bowl

With the Spartans heading to the Cotton Bowl and three weeks of free time, a road trip might be just the thing to get your mind off of school. The 1,155-mile ride might not sound appealing, but a trip through the heart of the country has plenty of restaurants, museums, and sites to make it all memorable. Connor Cook wins 2015 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award

Senior quarterback Connor Cook has been regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in the country all season long, Tuesday afternoon that talk was validated with some hardware. Cook's play this season has earned him the 2015 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, presented annually since 1987 to the nation’s top college quarterback.

New fraternity Zeta Psi charters at MSU

Over the past weekend, MSU has gained a new fraternity on campus. Zeta Psi Fraternity Inc. chartered its 52nd active chapter, the Zeta Tau chapter here at MSU. The fraternity prides itself on going to some of the best schools in the world and creating a network of well-rounded brothers. Tyler Boisvert, the director of operations for Zeta Tau, talked about the purpose of the charter banquet. “The idea of the event at the very beginning is always to celebrate a group of young men taking the endeavors on a chapter,” Boisvert said.
