Michigan ranked 33rd most romantic state in study by MSU professor

The beaches of Hawaii are considered one of the most romantic vacation spots within the U.S. New York City is considered as one of the most romantic cities in the U.S. According to a recent study by MSU professor Bill Chopik, which ranked the states based on how romantic its inhabitants were, New York ranked 42nd and Hawaii ranked 19th. “There’s so many people and it’s so big, you would think people just get together all the time,” mechanical engineering sophomore Sarah Daugherty said, who thought New York was ranked in the top ten.

FINAL: Blackmon buries comeback effort with 33 points, MSU falls 82-75

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Three after three after three for Indiana's James Blackmon Jr. powers the Indiana Hoosiers (14-6 overall, 4-3) past MSU men's basketball (12-8 overall, 4-3) 82-75 at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Ind.  After making his first six shots in the first half, Blackmon would end the first half with 18 points. Fifth-year senior Eron Harris and freshman forward Nick Ward had 11 and 8 points respectfully, in the first half.  Blackmon wasn't done to start the second half, netting another 3-point basket on their first offensive possession.
