MSU attendance policy allows for flexibility; leads to confusion

Students don’t know what their professors will accept, and what, if any, proof they need to present to back up their reasons for missing class. It's become common for course syllabi to say doctor's notes are required, though professors don't always enforce that policy — and MSU discourages the practice altogether.

MSU archery team gears up to host U.S. Archery Collegiate Target Nationals

The MSU Archery Team and Club held a tournament-style shoot at The Demmer Center on March 23, 2025. Members came to the practice to hone their skills in preparation for the 2025 US Archery Target Nationals, which will take place from May 15-18 at the Hope Sports Complex in Lansing, Michigan. While practicing, members of the team provided insight into the experiences MSU Archery provides for them, what it takes to be a successful archer and how the team operates as a registered student organization.

MSU's UAB hosts 'Dress To Impress Live'

On Monday, March 31, attendees gathered at Michigan State University’s Student Union to participate in the University Activities Board (UAB)’s “Dress To Impress Live!” The event was based on Roblox's online game “Dress To Impress.” Just like in the online version, each round consisted of three participants who were given about five and a half minutes to create an outfit.
