Bridges showed his value early, scoring 21 points with 7 rebounds in a thrilling loss against then-No. 10 Arizona. It’s no surprise the Spartans look to him to provide momentum and scoring.

In the "Battle 4 Atlantis," No. MSU finishes in third place after a win against Wichita State 77-72 . MSU took a 10 point lead into the second half, 39-29, however, many Spartans faced foul trouble. Their loss against Baylor saw the Spartans in a similar situation, up three points at the half, until being blown out in the second half, losing 73-58.
