“I'm a true believer of the cream will rise,” wide receivers coach Courtney Hawkins said. “I think there'll be some guys that are a little ahead of the other guys, but we'll do a great job of bringing in the new guys and getting them up to speed. And we'll do what we gotta do to make our room the best room possible.”
“My personal goal is for these guys to be the best that they can be in college football, and we’ll work everyday to be that. If I feel that they’re the best players they can be, I'm fine with it,” Jordan said.

Based on the trajectory of Thorne’s career, Michigan State may go just as far as Thorne takes them.
