We The Kings band members use video blogging to connect with fans

They were waiting for rock band We the Kings, who performed a free show for students in an event presented by the University Activities Board, though plenty of non-students were in attendance as well.  Among the excited crowd was Glen Oaks Community College student Mary Miller, who said she heard about the concert through lead bassist Charles Trippy’s Facebook page.

MSU college of music to put on 15th annual Cello Plus Music Festival in early April

The MSU college of music will be putting on its 15th annual Cello Plus Chamber Music Festival on April 6, 8, 10 and 12.  The festival will feature five acclaimed faculty artists and four world-renowned guest artists. Also appearing will be advanced MSU student string players and students from the University Chorale.  The festival’s artistic director is professor of cello and the co-chair of the string area, Souren Bagratuni.

For any students with a flair for fashion that are looking for a community to share that with, there are a couple different clubs on campus tailored to fit your interests.  VIM Magazine VIM is a fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazine published biannually and ran entirely by MSU students.
