The State News caught up with MSU student Princess Souvenir, a theater senior with a specialization in Black American and Diasporic Studies. Souvenir is a native of the Caribbean country Guyana, a fact she displays through her Afrocentric apparel.

Although time has passed and art has changed since the inaugural year of the MSU Spring Arts and Crafts Show, the goal of the event hasn’t changed.
