Alumni establish first scholarship
The first scholarship for undergraduate students with disabilities at MSU will be awarded in January for the spring semester. The five Samaritan Foundation scholarships, worth $2,500 each, are offered by the Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities.

GEU rallies, begins talks with U about grievance

Housing & Food Services vice president gets award
Chuck Gagliano has received what he calls a “surprise award.” The assistant vice president for Housing & Food Services was nominated by the MSU Department of Police and Public Safety for the Respected College Administrator Award. The annual award is presented by the Michigan Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators - the state’s organization of campus police chiefs. Former MSU police Chief Bruce Benson nominated Gagliano for the award before the chief retired from the department. “It’s really nice to be recognized for work done,” Gagliano said.
