The collegiate baseball season is a grind — it’s 54 games, and a perfect season is basically impossible. There are going to be some days where a team just can’t get anything going, and for the Spartans, Tuesday was one of those games.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Spartans hosted the Golden Grizzlies of Oakland University for a weekday match up, in which the Grizzlies picked up their 11th win of the season and improved to 11-11 on the year after defeating the Spartans by a final score of 3-1.
