The early afternoon drizzle dissipated and left behind some perfect weather for football as the No. 17 MSU Spartans traveled to Bloomington to take on the 2-1 Indiana. A back and forth game was sent to overtime, with the Hoosiers giving MSU their second straight loss 24-21.

In honor of the late Mylan Hicks, who was killed earlier this week, the MSU Athletics Department has set up a scholarship endowment in his name, according to a press release. The endowment, named the Mylan Hicks Memorial Football Scholarship Endowment, was created by a request of Hicks' family and friends.
