MSU women's basketball falls short to No. 14 Indiana 94-91 in intense road battle

Michigan State women's basketball fell short to the No. 14 Indiana Hoosiers on Thursday night 94-91 in a nail-biting finish on the road. The Spartans now hold a record of 17-6 overall and 7-5 in the Big Ten Conference, along with a 3-4 record away. Coming into the game, the Hoosiers were 11-0 in home games and now still hold a perfect record after they clinched a win. Before the game, both teams were on a four-game winning streak against multiple Big Ten opponents.

Preview: MSU women's basketball returns to the Breslin to play Boilermakers in first of back-to-back home games

The Michigan State women’s basketball team has once again found itself trying to come back from behind in the conference standings after dropping a Big Ten game to the Golder Gophers in Minneapolis. Lucky for the Spartans, the team finally gets a break from its “hectic” schedule and will return to East Lansing and have two home games this week. Michigan State will first play the Purdue Boilermakers on Wednesday, Jan. 24.
