The MSU women’s basketball team held its annual media day at the Breslin Center Wednesday, after fans got a first glance at the team during MSU Madness on Oct. 14. There, head coach Suzy Merchant spoke in a press conference, addressing the changes since last offseason.
MSU annouced shortly after 2:15 p.m. Saturday, that fifth-year senior linebacker Riley Bullough will be back in the lineup for the Spartans for the first time since week two.

The often overlooked unit in MSU’s win over Notre Dame on Saturday was the offensive line. Pulling and opening holes, the offensive line created healthy gaps, allowing for running backs LJ Scott and Gerald Holmes to garner a combined 198 yards of the teams 260 yards rushing.
The last time MSU sixth-year linebacker Ed Davis played Wisconsin, he was a redshirt-freshman. He recorded a tackle for loss in that game, and seemed to bring an extra competitive fire wherever he played, whether it was through his work on the scout team, his redshirt season or his 58 tackles his junior year as a starter.
