Join us for our Turkey Trot 5k to help raise donations for the MSU Food Bank before Thanksgiving! We are collecting canned goods to donate to the food bank.
Registration is currently $15 for MSU students or $20 for non-students or Lansing area residents. Starting Nov. 10, registration will be $20 for MSU students and $25 for non-students. A portion of the fees will go to supporting MSU Food Bank for the holiday season. Participants are encouraged to bring canned goods on the day of the race to donate or you can bring them into The State News prior to the race at 435 E. Grand River Ave between 9 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday. Our local Kroger location will match any can donations at the end of the event.
The Turkey Trot will take place on MSU campus, starting at the Rock, on Sunday, November 22, 2015. The race will begin at 12 PM. Awards will begin at 1 PM. When you finish the race, you'll enjoy live music presented by Harper's Restaurant & Brew Pub and roam the award area where East Lansing businesses have booths and free swag!
Each runner will receive a long sleeve t-shirt for the race and a gift bag at the end of the race.
Registration and check-in begins at 11 AM before the race.
Deadline to sign-up for the race is November 18, but the deadline for guarantee a t-shirt is November 8.
