Whitmer speaks at class of 2026 convocation
Michigan State University students gathered inside the Breslin Center for their convocation in East Lansing, Mich., on May 1, 2026. During the convocation, Michigan Governor and MSU Alum, Gretchen Whitmer, gives the graduating students advice for their future and commends them for their hard work during their time at Michigan State University. Other notable speakers included Michigan State's president, Kevin Guskiewicz, Michigan State's Provost, Laura Lee McIntyre and class council president Kathryn Harding.
