Trump hints at reelection campaign ahead of Michigan midterms
Former president Donald Trump held a rally in support of the Michigan GOP midterm ticket on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022. The event served as an official endorsement for Secretary of State candidate Kristina Karamo, Attorney General candidate Matthew Deperno, gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon and congressional candidate John James.
Candidates touched on public education, foreign policy and Roe v. Wade throughout the night and their goals to replace Michigan's current Democratic leaders Jocelyn Benson, Dana Nessel and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
