Spartans Let 3-0 Lead Slip in OT Tie, Shootout Loss to Penn State
After jumping out to a 3-0 lead in the first 33 minutes, the Spartan men's hockey team would tie in overtime and lose in the shootout to Penn State at the Munn Ice Arena on Nov. 10, 2023. Outshooting the Spartans with 40 shots to their 35, the Nittany Lions claimed victory in the shootout by successfully converting 2 out of 4 attempts.
