Local organizations protest at Lansing Capitol in support of Indian farmers
Michigan State University’s Sikh Student Association as well as many other local groups organized a protest at the Lansing Capitol in support of farmers in India. These farmers have been protesting for the last nine months against a series of bills that were passed by the Indian Parliament, privatizing agriculture across the country and threatening the livelihood of small farmers.
