Lansing marked its First Olive Burger Week as the city celebrated its designation as the olive burger capital of the world. The week highlighted local restaurants, longtime traditions and the community surrounding one of Lansing’s most recognizable foods. At the center of the celebration is Kewpee Sandwich Shoppe, a staple since 1930, where olive burgers have remained a fixture for generations of Lansing residents.
