Owosso, Mich. resident Catherine Popowich takes a photo of a Madagascar hissing cockroach during the open house on Feb. 13, 2017 at the Michigan State University Bug House in the Natural Science Building. Popowich said she heard about the bug house through a photographer she is friends with. Popowich also said she is an artist and she takes pictures of wildlife to then draw them.
