MSU hockey captured their first-ever Big Ten Tournament championship after defeating the University of Michigan at Munn Ice Arena on March 23, 2024. With the score tied at the end of regulation, freshman defenseman Patrick Geary would score the overtime game-winner to push the Spartans to victory, 5-4.
