Michigan State advances to Sweet 16 after win over New Mexico
Michigan State men's basketball defeated New Mexico on Sunday night at Rocket Arena in Cleveland. Despite trailing by two at halftime, the Spartans ended up on top 71-63, led by senior guard Jaden Akins and junior guard Tre Holloman with 16 points and 14 points respectively. The Spartans will play Ole Miss in Atlanta next weekend, marking Izzo's 16th appearance in the Sweet 16.
