A dominant second half brings Michigan State Football to 2-0 after defeating Eastern Michigan 35-7 at home in East Lansing, Mich., on Sept. 12, 2026. With a slow start in the first and a strong showing from the defense, MSU was able to hold their ground before they came out for the second half full force. After only being up 14-7 at halftime, MSU turned up their offense early in the third quarter. With touchdowns from Fredrick Moore, Cam Edwards, Charles Taplin, and Jaziun Patterson, it seemed that MSU could not be stopped. The Spartans will hit the road next week to face off against No. 3 Notre Dame, a match up that has not been seen since 2017.
