Michigan State conquers Detroit Mercy in a doubleheader sweep
Michigan State softball improved its record to 12-18 with a sweep over the University of Detroit Mercy in a non-conference doubleheader at Secchia Stadium on April 1, 2025. The Spartans marked their highest-scoring game of the season so far during the second game of the night, winning 20-0 after upholding the five-inning mercy rule.
