MSU men's basketball took on No. 19 ranked Illinois on Sunday in key matchup as conference play heats up in the Big Ten. Backed by a deafening Izzone in the Breslin Center, the Spartans ended on top 80-78 in a back-and-forth game led by junior guard Tre Holloman with 17 points. The Spartans look to continue adding to their 11-game win streak on the road against Rutgers on Jan. 25.
