Mary Mayo Hall on Feb. 21, 2025. The hall, which was built in 1931, was named after a women's education advocate at then-Michigan Agricultural College in the late-1800s. Rumors of her spirit haunting the building have circulated through the student body for over a century — even though Mayo died off-campus 28 years before the hall was built.
