7 Miles for 7 Shots March

On Friday, October 16, 2020, the charity organization We the Free People held the 7 Miles for 7 Shots March to demand justice for Breonna Taylor, a woman who was shot seven times by police in Louisville, Kentucky on March 13, 2020. Participants gathered at the Michigan State Capital at 6pm to march 7 miles in honor of Breonna Taylor. Every two miles, participants and organizers stopped in the middle of intersections to chant and have speeches discussing the Black Lives Matter Movement. The march moved from the Michigan State Capital into South Lansing and back to the Michigan State Capital.
