Surplus Store and Recycling Center utilizes MSU's waste as a resource
Michigan State University's Recycling Center and Surplus Store is home to the university's recycling and waste management, responsible for hundreds of thousands of pounds a year in recyclables. The center processes tens of millions of pounds of recyclables and used objects annually. Students and employees sorted through university recycling to identify valuable recyclables, which can become anything from cereal boxes to compost.
