Spartan Strong messages and support surrounds campus one year after mass shooting
On Feb. 13, 2024, Spartans and community members came together to memorialize the lost lives of Brian Fraser, Arielle Anderson and Alexandria Verner, who were killed in a mass shooting on campus last year. Flowers, messages and memorabilia were placed at Berkey Hall, the MSU Union, The Rock on Farm Lane and The Spartan Statue in memory of the tragic event. In the evening, there was a luminary vigil to honor the three lost lives and heal as a community.
