Michigan State men's basketball landed its center in the 2027 recruiting class.
Jaydn Jenkins, a four-star center, announced his commitment to the Spartans on Wednesday, according to Dushawn Landon of 247Sports.

The 6-foot-10 big man out of Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, Pennsylvania, is head coach Tom Izzo's second commit this cycle, joining five-star point guard Antonio Pemberton. Jenkins is the 60th-ranked player nationally, the No. 8-ranked center and the No. 1 player from Pennsylvania in his class, according to 247Sports.
Both Jenkins and Pemberton visited MSU’s Grind Week, a weeklong event for former Spartan players to connect with recruits and current players before the season starts.
The addition of Jenkins marks the second year in a row that the program has added a true center after signing former four-star recruit Ethan Taylor in 2026.
Jenkins chose MSU over Georgetown, Xavier, West Virginia and other high-major schools.
