Larceny and traffic stops were both reported multiple times last week, along with one report of assault.
The Michigan State University Department of Police and Public Safety disclosed the incidents under the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act, which requires universities to publicly list reported criminal offenses and is subject to change as events are reported.
Incidents are distinguished by the date they were reported in crime blotter reports. This week's reported incidents may include incidents from days prior.
Saturday 8/8
A traffic stop involving someone driving with an expired registration occurred around 1:15 a.m. near Grand River Avenue and Delta Street. According to the Clery log, this incident resulted in a citation.
A traffic stop involving someone driving with a suspended license occurred around 1:25 a.m. near Michigan Avenue and Clippert Street. According to the Clery log, this incident resulted in a citation.
A traffic stop involving someone driving without proof of insurance occurred around 2 a.m. near Rosewood Avenue and Grand River Avenue.
Sunday 8/9
A traffic stop involving someone driving under the influence of liquor or drugs occurred around 2:20 a.m. near Grand River Avenue and Farm Lane. MSU DPPS reported that this incident resulted in an arrest.
Monday 8/10
No incidents were reported on this day.
Tuesday 8/11
A traffic stop involving someone driving without proof of insurance occurred around 9:30 a.m. near Grand River Avenue and Division Street. According to the Clery log, this incident resulted in an arrest.
Burglary with no intent x18 and damage to a property or business x3 were reported to have occurred at 10:30 a.m. on May 15 at 16 Spartan Village Apartments, Building 1621. MSU DPPS reported that doors and windows were damaged. According to the Clery log, the case is inactive.
Larceny at Lot 91 was reported that occurred around midnight on Sept. 29.
Wednesday 8/12
A domestic assault involving a violation of the Controlled Substances Act, possession of burglary tools and a concealed weapon offense occurred around 7 a.m. near Spartan Village Apartments. MSU DPPS reported that the subjects involved in the assault previously knew each other and that this incident resulted in an arrest because a subject was carrying a concealed knife.
Larceny from the Engineering Building was reported to have occurred on Aug. 10 around 7:15 a.m. MSU DPPS reported that this involved reportedly stolen cash under $50.

An MSU ordinance violation involving an unmanned aircraft or drone occurred around 11 a.m. near Lot 79 by Spartan Stadium.
